Wendi Pope Rank is an advanced practice nurse from the Philadelphia area. She earned a master’s degree from Lasalle University in 2002.
Wendi has written for medical journals since 1998. Her first piece was published in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing. That article can be found here.
Wendi has also written for the journal Nursing2024. A complete list of those publications can be found here and here. Topics include Cerebral Vessel Repair with Coils and Glue in 2002 and Understanding Parkinsonisms in 2021. The latter article was inspired by Wendi’s dad, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2018.
Find stories about Wendi caring for her dad here. They’re funny, entertaining anecdotes on the trials of aging parents.
Other publications include Conserve the Wild, which can be found here, and pieces for Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, which can be found here. Wendi began writing about hunting and the outdoors thanks to her husband, who enjoys both. Wendi remains a dedicated indoorsman, baffled by animal bones passing as home decor and stressing over trips to The Cabin.
Read more about Wendi’s adventures with the outdoors and hunting here. Her style is lovingly tongue-in-cheek as she details the differences between her stream-loving spouse and her streaming-loving self.
Wendi has written for SAVVY Main Line and is a contributing writer at The Uptight Suburbanite as well as Montco.Today and its sister sites. Her weekly column for Montco.Today, “Weekend Wanderer,” runs on Saturdays. Find that and other publications here, here, and here.
